Sometimes I look back and wonder how I submitted myself to certain risks. I question that kid who once jumped 15 flights of stairs...or landed on a pair of skates after three laps in the air. That kid had no perspective, no sense of risk. For these wandering minds, whose dreams constantly soar, there’s always energy for something more. There’s so much drive and vitality that fear seems nonexistent.

A few months ago, I caught this fever again. They gave me the bug, and once more, there’s no perspective, no "what if." I find it "normal" to twist something, discover a new scar, or find a burn when I get home, and I wonder where that kid came from.
